Appalling services by FNB

The service and treatment at FNB is appalling!

I visited the Queenstown Branch with regards to my late mothers accounts. I spoke to a consultant that advised that my mom's credit card was paid up because she had the credit card protection plan. The documents I had were: Letter of executorship, death certificate and my original drivers license. Bothe the LOE and death certificate were stamped by a commissioner of oaths. I was advised that there is an investment account and that I should open an estate late account with them, which I advised we already have one. I sent FNB south Africa a private message on LinkedIn stating my complaint and I recieved a call from someone who failed to articulate themselves or their processes

These are the complaints I have with fnb: 1. Hideous processes, transfer takes 31 days which is 6 weeks. 2. Lady I spoke to advised that FNB only accepts original documents and not copies and they are to verify the documents by the DOJ. I don't have a problem with verification because I understand the risk implications however, what I do not understand is the the copy and original are the same document, printed on the same A4 with the same information. What makes this worse and very infuriating is that, the very same lady provided me an email address to send these documents to their deceased department for a payout but cannot divulge any information with regards to what else is on my mother's profile and the balances of these investments, even though I am an executor and I do have the documents?!!! Why can they not ne transparent and honest? I had sent them a message earlier today but there was no response.

Them not wanting to provide information to me as an executor is ********!!! The least FNB could do is to get someone that can explain to me correctly! I must truly say, I am appaled at the client experience I recieved!
