Appalling service
I have received the most painful process from Fnb that is exceptionally frustrating. On the 22nd I purchased an item for R764, the first two swipes off my savings card were declined, naturally I assumed there was an issue and never bothered with the receipts because I was notified it was declined. I then swiped my cheque account which went through immediately. Yesterday I notice R1528 less in my savings account, I went to an fnb branch and they called head office to be notified that there are two reversals to the amount of R1528 pending, they could not tell me when it would be back in my account. Today I called fnb and was told I have to fill in forms and attach my receipts. This is ridiculous, I do not have the slips as it was declined and nobody told me I would have to go through this hassle for something I never did. I then m went back to fnb and they say said it is compulsory. Now I have to go back to the store that I purchased the item and ask them to write a letter stating I did purchase and it was declined and then apparently wait 7 days for MY money to come back in my account. I do need the money yet fnb are so dishonest that they can see I swiped at the store and it was declined twice, why do I have to go through this hassle and inconvenience myself and other people just to get my money back. I would really demand my money back please because this policy is appalling and i will leave the bank and family and friends would probably follow suit from this inconvenience you have caused. Regards,
