Appalling Customer Service

<p>I went into the FNB branch at Balfour Park Johannesburg, to open an account which was closed and in arrears. I explained to the consultant named Ndiyafphi that I stopped working a few years back due to certain personal problems I had, Ndiyafphi inappropriately questioned me on my problems, then turned it into a joke for rest of the consultants sitting next to him so that everyone could have a good laugh. All of this was very embarrasing due to the nature of my personal problems and the fact that I had someone with me, sitting next to me listening to all these inappropriate questions which had absolutely nothing to do with my account and everything to do with Ndiyafphi impressing the rest of the FNB staff. I lost my temper, exchanged a few words with Ndiyafphi, and got up to leave, Ndiyafphi laughed the entire time and only stopped laughing when I left Viola's (The branch managers) office. I explained what had happened to the branch manager who was quite busy at the time. She called me to tell me that she will investigate after I went back to get her name and the hillarious Ndiyafphi's. I think FNB is failing as a service provider terribly, their consultants lack empathy completely. I could understand the comedian Ndiyafphi making a joke out of my very serious situation. However, him being able to rally 2 other consultants to do the same is quite disgusting.</p>
