Anything but

Just to replace a simple bank card is an event. I was meant to collect my new card at the branch within 3-5 working days but instead I get a call from some courier saying that my card will take another 3-5 working days to be delivered directly to me.

I denied the delivery 'arrangement' and said I will collect from the branch. Then the courier proceeds to tell me that I may get charged for this. There was not even a notification from the assistant at the branch, nor online, nor via any other correspondence that there will be a charge/s.

What drama and effort just to get a new card. I'm with two banks for daily accounts, a task as simple as this turned into such an event makes me want to run away from fnb and forget they even exist, like hearing an ex partner's name...I cringe when I hear the name or see branding.
