Anyone home?
wow. 38 min on hold waiting for "private" banking to pick up. It's hard to complain about service when you can't even get to it - went via website, tried to contact private banker listed on my account, AVR said they weren't available and put me in some queue where I'm now 40min on hold.... unbelievable

28 Jun 2021, 11:49Tried installing the mobile app and requested a secure chat.... that was 40 minutes ago.
Agent then told me I need to make a payment to verify my app, and that such verification would take 7 days from payment.
I don't have a payment account with FNB, so how it that supposed to work? And 7 days to verify? Really? All I want is to talk to someone about getting a copy of my title deed for crying out loud. I haven't even been able to ask the question yet.
I'm then transferred via chat to home loans who tell me to get hold of online banking to verify my device....but then decline to tell me how to get hold of them.
I am, at this point, dumbfounded as to how to proceed. Gobsmacked.
