Another Reason Why I'm Might Be Leaving FNB

I went to a FNB outlet in Chris Hani Mall to stop a scheduled payment. I went there with my ID and FNB card for just in case, when I got there the consultant who was helping me said there is nothing he can do for me because he can only delete the whole payment and not stop it temporarily, which is what I wanted. Surprisingly enough, I had done this before at another FNB outlet in East Rand Mall and I didn't experience a problem there...So he refered me to the online banking without disclosing to me that there is a limit on the amount...i.e, you can only stop a scheduled payment of an amount below R200 and not above that...so clearly he doesn't know his job AT ALL!!! I found this information from their customer care line, which by the way is complete ''BS'' to put it mildly...

Clearly you don't get the same service in each FNB outlet...I guess one has to travel all the way to the ''Suburbs'' to be given service... Thank you FNB for giving me another reason to move over to another bank ...really, it's like you want your customers to move their business elsewhere.
