*********** and Indifferent Attitude to Ongoing *****
I have been a client with FNB for over nine years and recently, February 2025, my account was hacked. Various charges were made to multiple Plazas across the country. Each charge was around R250.00 /R260.00 and all were on the same day. As soon as funds are deposited into my account these charges are made and my account is depleted. I've been unable to transact on my account since then, it is now April. At first, FNB assured me they would get to the heart of the matter and replace ****** funds and they did but those reimbur*****ts were also quickly spirited out of my account. I was left at zero until new funds were again deposited into my account in March and they went the same way. That time I'd let to cancelled my old card and requested a new one - *****sters were still able to access my account. I have a new card but cannot activate it for fear of new charges being made. FNB has failed to address the issue, when I call their ***** helpline their agents tell me they can do nothing or hangup once I've stated my case. I have made calls from within FNB bank branches with the same results. I am on my third month and expect new charges to appear on my account whilst the bank that claims to want to help me does absolutely nothing. In all this madness, FNB is still able to claim their monthly bank charges so the result is that FNB and the *****sters get paid but I get nothing.
