An average experience day to day, but for anything else it's a complex mess.

In general I don't have issues day to day if I'm just using my card. But beyond that, I run into issues with them all the time. Their "system is always slow", payment dates for credit keeps changing even when I explicitly tell them to only take things off on the 2nd of the month. I tried to take a debt consolidation load because their system said it was pre-approved, but it **** because then they ended up calling me. Which I don't have a problem with, but they keep wanting to either have my ID number over the phone or I have to go into a branch. The nearest branch is a city over, and I don't want to give my ID as they should be able to use the FNB app they're so proud of to authenticate me, otherwise anyone can just call asking for my personal details.

I have a private banking account, so I asked my private banker to deal with the loan for me, next morning, I get a call from FNB again from some random tiller that's got basic access to my account. It's stupid. Basically you have a "private banker" but you generally deal with their assistants, not them directly, and they don't really help you with anything. I was expecting them to at least help manage my account to optimize interest rates and such, but they don't really do anything you can't do yourself.

They also keep bugging me to update to a fusion account. When I say no, I'm not interested, they just call again. They don't keep track of anything I say no to.

Another issue is their normal banking department seems to have no communication to their credit and FNB life departments, it's like they have a bunch of small departments that do their own thing and can't help you with anything else. I've had a number of cases where they have to get me involved soley because they can't contact their respective departments for information directly.
