Activating a business account is like dealing with the Department of Home Affairs

5 Days on and the bank account for my new business is still not activated. I have my first client who wants to pay me today and embarrassingly, I have to tell my client my new business account is not yet activated through no fault of my own. I phone Portia at FNB Business banking and I get told the turnaround time for "'admin" to review the documents is 1 to 3 days. Honestly, the department of home affairs are faster than FNB. My company doesn't owe you anything, FNB. Fix this mess or I take my business somewhere else. its that simple!
