Account/loan closure

I have had a revolving credit plan for the past few years, which I have settled in July..I have since asked them to close it but to this day, its still part of my profile, I was first told it will be removed in 24hrs, then it was 7days, then it was escalated, then referred to the credit manager...then escalated further...different stories from different bankers...please get this sorted.
