Account re-opening not in branch but on website perhaps please? Thanks

FNB closed my personal account. When I went into a branch I was told that account is still there and can be opened but that it is closed. Someone sent money to that account. I cant go into branch. How can I reopen account from where I am online? I have the account number. Please advise urgently. Is there an easier way to open accounts from website perhaps? If system said account is there but closed and can I access those funds? Thanks so much
