Account put on hold!!

My husband's account has been put on hold. No warning whatsoever. Called FNB and he was told to visit the branch. He was then told that someone will be able to assist him as he's the one that flagged his account but wasn't available at that point. This is so frustrating. How do you decide to freeze an account, no description as to why, no follow up, NOTHING! What an inconvenience.
