Account on hold for weeks with no communication
FNB have put a hard hold on my account for weeks due to KYC compliance. Not once was I notified or asked about KYC documents.
I am a private wealth client, and not even my account manager contacted me.
FNB proceeded to put a hard hold on my account without informing me.
Only when I contacted FNB was I told, I submitted all the relevant documents on the 26th of September. As of the 29th of September my account is still on hold. There is no sense of urgency.
It is in fact been on hold for weeks and I have had no access to money in this time.
FNB have put a loyal customer in a position where they cannot even buy a bottle of water at money, at their own doing.
Informing your customer is the bare minimum FNB should do.
You have just lost a very loyal long term customer, but even worse you have put an individual in bad financial position when FNB is the ones at fault.
