Account on Hold - FICA Disaster

I opened a business account with FNB in 2014. All the company documents and all other necessary FICA docs, proof of residence, was supp**** and scanned by FNB. Thereafter it took them 15 months to get the address, which they entered incorrectly, corrected.

In Feb 2016 I received a sms stating FICA regulations require them, FNB, to obtain business documents for my business, which was given to them in 2014 when the account was opened. The sms read the documents must be uploaded but the call cenre could not be specific. I took my entire file to the Featherbrooke branch and they loaded all the necessary documents which where apparently needed.

On Friday @ 17:39, 17 June 2016, I received a sms to say that due to non-submission of FICA docs my business account will have a transactional hold. On Sa****ay, 18 June, I took my file to the branch, signed a declaration for the business proof of residence, and they uploaded all the necessary docs which where APPARENTLY needed.

On Tuesday @ 18:50, 21 June, I again received an sms to say a transactional hold will be placed on my account tomorrow, Wednesday.

On Wednesday, 22 June, morning I phoned the number given on the sms @ 09:20. The person answering the phone could not resolve the problem or tell me what was required and referred the matter to her superior who would phone me. I then went to the Featherbrooke branch with my file. They discovered that an invoice, for information interest only, was older than 3 months and the documents rejected. Te KYC people did not even bother to read the other six documents with the correct information and the declaration. The matter was APPARENTLY rectified after They AGAIN scanned in the correct documents plus another declaration. They phoned the KYC number who confirmed that the docs were okey but need to go to the correct dept but that I would NOT receive anymore smss and that my account will remain open.

WELL, that did not last long because I have just received an sms @ 16:45 today, Thursday, 23 June, stating that a transactional hold has been placed on my business account.

All of this ******* yet when I go online into my account the only docs requirement is for me to supply my personal proof of residence, which I have uploaded 6 times plus the Featherbrooke branch has uploaded it three times and on their computers there is no requirement because it is updated.

The persons dealing with the FICA (KYC) docs at FNB have no clue as to what they are doing and creating BAD business relationships.

THIS IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD.
