Account on hold!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good day,
I buy and sell second hand items as a side line job. On the 21st of December at 19:00 a person paid an amount of R2500 into my account (half of the price of a laptop I was selling). I dropped off the item at Pick 'n Pay Aramex around 19:30, just before going to work (I was working night shift). I was sending the laptop to the Freestate.
The very next morning (12 hours later) the person contacted FNB and they blocked my account because I didn't answer my phone in the morning as I was working night shift (this I only found out later).
On the 24th I was informed that the laptop was returned as the address the person provided me was in a mall and nobody could sign for the item. When the item was returned I contacted the client and let him know what had happened and that he should provide me with a residential address. He advised that he would rather want his money back (as he needed the laptop urgently) so I went onto my banking app and tried to send him the money and this is when I discovered that my account was blocked!
Firstly:
-The fact that FNB is so irrational and can't use common sense in respect to a parcel that can't reach another province in a mere 12 hours only. -The fact that they blocked my account because I didn't answer the client's call as I was sleeping due to my night shift is outrageous
Today is Christmas and my ****** account is on hold due to the most irrational fool who reported my account because I was sleeping.
The moment you unblock my account is the very same moment I wi close my account with this unprofessional, ********* and selfish bank.
I want my account unblocked today or else I will be opening a case of theft by SAPS.
