Account Frozen without prior notice.
Really disappointed with FNB and how they operate. My FNB account was frozen on Monday night without prior notice due to FICA. I upgraded my account 3 months ago but they still needed my ID and proof of residence. Clearly FNB Pretoria West End filling system is not up to standard and I was inconvenienced due to their incompetence. Even after calling the call centre yesterday and being put on hold for 20 minutes I did not get any help instead I was told that I had to go to the branch where I had to stand in the queue for 1 hour 30 minutes. I was at work and had to leave my work to go to the bank to sort out this issue. What if I was not in the country?? I am really considering changing banks after being loyal to FNB for over 8 years
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
