Account Frozen - for no reason!

I received an sms on 26 May 2015 stating that FNB had not received my FICA documents (even though I had already gone into the FNB branch to submit all my documents and was told everything was acceptable)

The sms said that if my documents were not received within 30day they would freeze my account. On the 17th of June my account was frozen. BEFORE the 30day cut off!

When I phoned to query they said they could not see my proof of residence and when I went into the bank the teller didn't photo copy the invoice correctly. How hard is it to make a proper photo copy??

I now have to waste my time going to the bank AGAIN to make sure the teller photocopies my proof of residence correctly and unfreezes my account. Of course I could email my proof of residence through to FNB AGAIN but they will then take 48hours to unfreeze my account!

I'm not sure about you but I don't have a stash of cash anywhere to keep me going for the weekend so without my bank card active I CANNOT buy food.

Please start teaching your employees the basics of photo copying - so we don't end up with serious problems like frozen accounts for NO GOOD REASON!
