Account Frozen

Dear FNB,

I was at a loss for words today when I was filling up petrol and had to explain to the attendant that I have no idea why my card is declining(seeing as I was not informed that my account was frozen). Having no cash I had to call a friend to come and settle my bill, with the now furious attendant. To make matters worse I missed a sale on a product that I will probably not be able to get again for months.

After reading some other submissions the only reason that I can think of for this is FICA. Now generally I wouldn't resort to such a public platform for my complaints however, this is not the first time I've had issues with FICA and FNB. I originally submitted(courier) my ID, as well as proof of residence, a letter stating that I am a tenant, and the ID of the person I am renting from. These documents were not uploaded correctly and only the ID of the my landlord was submitted. Due to this, a few months later I had to resend my ID and was told that my documents were in order. Now we are presumably sitting with the same problem.

If this is not FICA related, I wish to be notified of what the issue is.

I look forward to your response and the swift resolution of this issue
