Account closure request not honored.

Good day

On 21 December 2023, I requested that my Fusion account is closed. I was then instructed to transfer an amount of R2881.54 to settle it and a request to close will be submitted and I shouldn't use the account.

I haven't used the account to date and when I checked now, the account is still active and charges now accrued on the account.

Please can I get someone to close this account as I'm not going to be held liable for any additional costs. I specifically asked whether this was the correct amount owed and was assured it was.
