Account Closure

I am experiencing a problem with closing my FNB account that has exorbitant bank chargers I have paid all of them however when I am trying to close they keep sending me from pillar to post telling me because I have commitments with them I cannot close the account and I have made reservations to move to the other bank and the debicheck had been made so I am not certain as to why they still want me to have their account which not working for me
