Abysmal treatment of loyal clients

So having had my credit card expire in November and being on a contract at the time rendering my hours outside normal workday times in the formal workplace, I receive a call from their couriers wanting to deliver to my home. I decline in spite of the offer that a THIRD PARTY can sign on my behalf (REALLY!?!? in these times of ***** and ******** dominating the world?!?) I declined and requested that my card be delivered to the bank where my account is based (IT IS ON THEIR SYSTEM) I am promised and sms - never happens. I return eventually to life after the 16 hour day contract I was on - send and email in December requesting whether my card can be collected - NO REPLY - I send several more requests and after over a month I receive an unsigned curt email which reads: "FNB CREDIT CARD: 4901 07xx ***x 3000 Thank you for your communication. Kindly advise which Branch would your like the card to be delivered to, and the branch delivery are charged a fee of R100.00" No courtesy of a signature - My response that I decline and will instead pay off my card as per the contract has never been rep**** to; I have been a client in good standing for over 20 years. I live in the same street as the bank and yet they wanted to courier it to me at no charge! Insulting I think.

I cannot in good conscience not place this situation on record. People get away with shoddy behaviour even in a well renowned institution and treat good customers with abysmal disregard. D Allen

FEB 14 - 2019 So after all the drama I was put through and having to wait at home for a day to receive my renewal card via couriers, I finally get to the ATM in Rosebank Mall yesterday to activate my card and change the pin electronically generated to one of my own choice, I get a receipt from the ATM after my first attempt (using the pin enclosed with the new card) informing me that my card has been deactivated due to too many pin attempts!!?? his after only ONE attempt. In sheer disbelief I attempted a second time knowing that three incorrect attempts cancel a card, only to receive the same receipt as before in a period of ONE MINUTE. Something very suspicious about this entirely. What is going on FNB ?? You guys are normally so in the ball?? Diane Allen
