Abuse of disabled

I app**** for FNB life insurance. I was told to undergo a medical examination. Other people who apply for insurance are not required to undergo a medical examination. I believe I'm being discriminated against for using a wheelchair. Such ************** is *******.

I am a healthy person and I can prove that as follows:

I do a full-time job and earn a decent salary. I have not taken one day off sick this year. I took a few days in 2017 due to my wheelchair being broken or being serviced. I have supp**** my leave schedule obtained from my employer to FNB Insurance as proof. I do not take any medical drugs on a regular basis. My medical aid proof that. I am a member of BestMed medical aid. They regularly send nurses to our workplace to do basic medical screening including blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol. I have a medical aid but hardly ever claim from it. As proof I supp**** my BestMed tax schedule. It shows that I only claimed small amounts for regular check-ups and tests. For the rest of the year, I did not claim one cent. I have a vehicle (HC91KS GP) which I drive independently. I need no assistance to go where I want and do what I want. I am well capable of taking care of my minor son. In spite of using a wheelchair, I maintain a healthy weight through healthy food and regular exercise. I don't smoke or drink - never had.

FNB wants to send their nurse to examine me. I do not want that because I know she will humiliate, ridicule and criticize me. I get enough of that regularly. My life is hard enough, I don't need for FNB to make it harder. The only reason they want to send their nurse is to tell me I'm not good enough. Then they want me to fall on my knees, kiss her feet and beg. Why are they doing this to me? What did I do to deserve that?

I asked FNB to supply a LEGAL reason, based on facts, why I need to get a medical exam while other people who apply for cover, does not need to. Why am I being discriminated against? I also want a list of medical questions that FNB wants answered. I will take those to a medical practitioner that I trust for completion. Someone who I know will not humiliate me. I refuse to see a stranger black nurse who wants to prove to me that she is better than me, that she is the boss, that she can make or break me. I insist on going to a medical practitioner that I trust. I believe I have the right to choose who examine me.

Normally FNB aproves life insurance in minutes. I have waited now for three days and they do not reply to me or take the application forward. I know there is no legal or factual base for the examination. I'm being discriminated against for using a wheelchair. I believe this is abuse of a disabled person.
