Absolutely ZERO joy

I am on contract in Mautirius.

I use my FNB phone for a few days till I got a local SIM card.

I was informed that I had a bill of R19 000 for the time I used the card in Mauritius.

I tried to get a reason from my RMB Private Banker, and eventually I was contacted by someone sayind it was for data usage!!!

NINETEEN THOUSAND RAND!!! What sort of an idiot am I? If FNB clients are important to them, WHY could I not have been warned about this, or better still, blocked my phone. I asked for a proper reason, and want to knoew why I was not protected from it, or at least warned. FNB took the money!!!

I now received another notification that this month another R10 000.00 will be taken off my account!!

The phone has been in SA for 6 weeks, switched on twice by my wife. She has been unable to make a call on it. I have to pay my contract till the end, without using the phone.

Who is getting rich off me? FNB Connect?? Or are they in cahoots with some other scaniving network! It is impossible to use R10 000 of data with the phone in SA and switched off most of the time. TWENTY NINE THOUSAND RAND, and who knows how much more to come, and I am helpless.

Reviewer Update

This matter has been dragging for six weeks already. I have contacted FNB and RMB at various e-mail addresses. I have had insignificant replies. I need to know how it is possible that FNB Mobile can rob one of their clients or allow one of their clients to be ****** like this.

I have been an RMB client for years now. Because I was happy with their service I changed to FNB Connect. BIG MISTAKE.

Maybe I should change to Steve's bank!!
