ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE SERVICE

I requested that Road protect do my licence renewal on the 2nd of January 2020. Supporting documents were sent on the 5th of January 2020 and on the 08th of January 2020 I was notified through the FNB app that the documents were in order.

I sent an enquiry on the 14th January 2020 requesting an update as I had not heard anything from them and on the 15th January 2020 the courier called me to advise that the disk would be couriered either on Thursday the 16th January 2020 or on Friday the 17th January 2020. To my dismay, on the 17th January, I woke up to a message on my banking app advising that a refund would be issues to me as the delivery address is not within the same province as were there license. This seems ridiculous as the reason why I had used their service is because I live in a different province. I then called them and they advised that it was due to enforcements which had to be paid, I did the payment and had to go through the entire application process again. My license disk has now expired and is even beyond the 21 day grace period, even though when I requested the services of road protect, it was well within. To date, i’ve heard nothing from them and I am driving around with an unlicensed vehicle. I’m beyond anxious and disappointed and will never use their service again. As a product of FNB I would expect them to hold them to account.
