ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
I am disgusted with fnb's behaviour. I called in December asking to close my cheque account and the guy said I needed to go to the bank to close it. I decided to stay a little longer because at the time I was not able to go to a bank due to rotational working shifts and Christmas shopping. I used my fnb card to pay for groceries and it was declined because the agent I spoke to cancelled my card. The amount of embarrassment and anger rushed through me was incredible. I transfered the funds from my fnb card to my capitec card via the app to pay for my things...anyway, I needed some cash because hey January... So I took out a temp loan of R2000 from fnb and transferred it to my capitec account(I'll give that to fnb for helping me out). I paid the temp loan back in full + interest on Saturday however, cleared on monday BUT it still shows as outstanding on my credit report and has dropped my credit score by 33 points. I am so much more upset about drop in my credit score than anything else because I am a young South African trying to buy a damn house and now I need to suffer because of their incompetence!!!! I had a problem with them previously which was eventually sorted but now this! It never seems to end!!! Also I went to the fnb on Saturday passed to get rid of this darn card but "there are no tellers available to close your account" ***!!!! I went to the 1 in Cape Town and they are temporarily shut down and referred everyone to the one in Woodstock. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS NONSENSE!!!! WHY MUST I RUN AFTER FNB TO CLOSE MY CARD THAT THEY HAVE CANCELLED!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO FNB EVER AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
