ABSA just carries on debiting while FNB takes 3 months to switch not-so-successfully

I truly do not care who *****ed up when but I am tired of ABSA debiting from the wrong account 3 months in a row after:

1. FNB requested a debit switch

2. They responded and said I need to send a SWITCH INSTRUCTION LETTER, I did

3. but Nov - they debited

4. Dec- they debited

5. Jan - still debiting the same account

After each instance I would write an email, explicitly stating what it is that needs to happen

- but it does not.

· Each debit order - I PAY FOR

· Each unpaid debit order - I PAY EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS FOR

· To move money from FNB to satisfy their debit - I PAY FOR

· Even when I shut down my credit card - they still debited the ff month - ALL COSTS BORNE BY ME

Today (1 FEB 2017) I call them and get told my query will be actioned today but may take 5 working days to be processed - by that time the account will be in arrears - who does the interest accrue for? – ME

Who gets a ****TY credit rating? – ME

You too FNB were no better really

1. You had from SEPTEMBER to switch an account that you claim takes minutes, THREE MONTHS later I was still the one running after YOU guys to find where the hold up is

2. You send out debit order requests in Oct, ABSA responds in Nov, I send the letter same day but in Feb I am still being debited in the wrong account

3. For even my personal beneficiaries to be loaded I had to spend Black Friday sitting in your branch and still my card was not working though I was paid.

4. Your monthly is also quite different from what you advertise

ABSA Collections say they do not work with ANY emails – so how do you then as FNB ensure the right person got the debit order switch instruction?

And you ABSA whoever’s inbox that that email (and mines) landed up in, why is there no escalation?

And who do you suppose is going to pay for all these fees? And why is it so difficult to debit from an account that actually HAS the money you are after?

SORT THIS OUT
