about ewallet

i recently received an ewallet message from a friend and when i tried to withdraw the money it keeps saying we cannot complete your transaction please make sure you have initiated the transaction on your fnb app or cellphone banking before using the atm ,i dont understand how i could receive the message without the the transaction being initiated
