A simple task to hard to do for FNB

To get a letter from FNB that your account is closed is simply not possible. It’s extremely frustrating that you are overseas and your bank in SA just does not want to help. They give you the runaround so you can just pay more fees while they take their time to not do a simple task and close your account and send a letter. I would not recommend that any private client go to FNB, you are nothing to them, they just take your money. Before I went overseas last week I visited a branch to see a private banker and was told they don’t have that service you wait in line as a normal client ! Why do they have private banking Why pay a huge fee every month for private banking if you don’t get private banking?? ? Do you self a favor and save your money and your sanity and don’t go to FNB!
