A sad experience with FNB

I’m trying to pay my bond off by making extra payments, since March I’ve paid almost an extra R50000 on top of the monthly installments. In June I’ve noted that my interest I’m paying is still more than what it was in March 2023. Three weeks ago I contacted Fnb homeloans and requested a spreadsheet of all my extra payments and my running balances reflecting the interest payable after every month. Guess what I’m still waiting after numerous promises that they will send it and telling me that their response period is between 5 - 7 days. Well it is now 3 weeks. All I’m doing here is sharing my experience with a “so called” top bank in South Africa. Maybe after this they will send it tomorrow. My next stop is the ombudsman there is no way these banks can take the public for a ride like this.
