A month later still no quote

I have been trying to get a quote for a funeral cover for more than a month now. I signed up for a Life cover and i was told I would get a call back I didn't get a call back after a week and i made calls to that department. I have not been able to make a successful call ever since it keeps hanging while I am on hold. how long should i wait.
