A HUGE ****/***** brewing in FNB

This is not a review ( I hope HELLO PETER will consider it) but a WARNING to FNB to clean up & to foreign nationals to be on the guard.

In the pass 3 months, some characters in some FNB branches around Sandton, Boksburg, Pretoria, Fordsburg have been opening up accounts for FOREIGN NATIONALS (very nice) however - using PASSPORTS that do not have any VALID PERMITS whatsoever (No Asylum permits, nothing) Just a PERMIT-LESS PASSPORT (against banking LAWS)

Business cheque accounts are opened with only a passport ( NO PERMIT, NO PAY SLIP, NO PROOF OF RESIDENCE, NO NOTHING) - online banking, card is given them; and soon to be victims happily walk away having successfully gotten an account with a very easy & flexible banking house.

BUILDING THE ****.

Small debit orders of R19 rands are passed on the accounts - but that is only the beginning.

Within the gestation period of up to 6 months, documents such as payslips, proof of residence, etc are forged in the PASSPORT HOLDERS names.

(most VICTIMS work for Uber, restaurants etc and so have some money going on and off their accounts)

At the climax of the Gestation period, a LOAN is app**** for from within the SYNDICATE opening these accounts. These loans range from R20,000 to R50,000 and the moneys laundered off to other accounts.

Victims, who are FOREIGN PASSPORT holders, many of them with very little knowledge of how the system works are left with HUGE SUMS in Loans.

Being left with a loan they can hardly pay back is only the beginning of many legal battles which ends many in Prison, with a ******** record and deportation awaiting them.

However, it is also costly on FNB's side.

Kindly requesting FNB to look into this before the lid blows off the kettle for them.
