A bad communicating so called service provider

So my own bank has committed ***** into my credit card account. An invisible transaction has been done into my account which I assumed to be hacking of my account. Only to find out from my consultation at a branch that FNB is behind the dilemma. This happened last week and I picked it up during workers day and immediately made contact as a matter of emergency. FNB was never available regardless, I used the app option to communicate with them not a moment can I recall FNB making an effort of calling me back considering that I failed to get hold of any of their listed departments and the useless chat option on the app. I decided to visit a nearest branch which led me to wasting a lot of money due to most of their branches being closed and shall resume operations 11th of May 2020. Finally I found a branch in Midrand which attempted to assist, however also failed to receive concise and clear information/feedback about what happened to my credit card account, feedback from it's own Head Office. Now feedback from Management of mentioned branch was so not clear and this I purely poor feedback where no one could tell me what has happened exactly. So my current bank has failed to protect me, it is unreliable, cannot be trusted and it is no place of guaranteeing protection and securing of your funds or to invest in. It doesn't care and definitely no sense of treating and making its clients comfortable in its play ground. I am so disappointed about this type of service and have completely stopped the idea of possibly registering a business account with them. I have made a decision to close my relations with them once case has been at least concluded through Hello Peter.

Good day

Thank you to the Hello Peter Complaints Team . Yes FNB made contact and unfortunately they were bringing me information which eventually was of no use. They were informing me about a reduction of my limit which was a business decision made across whilst they were basing the limit according to credit score. Unfortunately this was being forced for me to just accept it seeing that it didn't have any solution. This doesn't only make me feel disrespected also it made me realize that this bank doesn't take my credibility serious. In summary the issue hasn't been resolved by them, and it all begins in assigning *********** individuals who do not understand the damage caused by the so called "business decision made" nonsense forced in me to accept. I personally think we have a long way to go in South Africa, I can only imagine how many of these institutions like the one in question are reaping those of our close ones whom do not even understanding these processes reaping our own people especially old generation on the daily bases. Maybe senior decision makers should start tapping into defining a model which serves its clients instead of sucking from the very same people seeking assistance from them. It is so bad that it seems the intention of creating an ambiance of reliability, trustworthy and caring is missing completely from them, instead a complete opposite is being practiced. Anyway thank you to them for adding more learnings into my basket of industries of my loyalty. I will be encouraging my immediate close ones currently using FNB to consider looking at alternative options if they looking at guaranteed security of their funds.

Regards
Thabo

Hi Hello Peter Complaints team

Sorry I missed the part where the lady informed me that if I want my limit increased I should consider applying. Now honestly how stupid is that process like I feel demeaned. In fact it would be interesting to know if this app**** to all FNB clients regardless of the credit score.

After almost 2weeks of trying to get hold of FNB they have wasted my time and theirs because of subjective routine decision making forced into a process. Resulting to me being given poor feedback quite embarrassing if one think on top of that assigned a task by taking responsibility for non of my actions. Someone hired by FNB taking a chance with them seems to be lost within their are of influence/responsibility which by default leads to FNB's reputation to be a very concerning discussion.

Maybe the hiring process should most probably be revised especially if it requires good decision makers. No resolution yet as mentioned.
