66,000 for 240MB of data!

I went to the UK and had to use my FNB connect sim for a short time (3 days and on wifi most the time). I come back to South Africa, for two weeks everything is fine, until I get a call from FNB telling me i have a high bill and I need to check my charges.

I look online and see that I have 66,000 in charges for 240MB. Ironically, ordering an uber cost me more in data charges than my return flights to and from the UK. Whilst this value is a joke, the worst has been how FNB has engaged with me. Apparently I have been placed on a payment plan without my agreement. The notes written do not reflect the conversation I have had. Worse so the contact center always hangs up on me, and when I have raised a query with the admin team it has been deleted and told its a duplicate. No one has actively reached out to me from this admin team to arrange payment plans etc.. All I want is to talk to someone who has the mandate as the contact centre doesn't!

Never use FNB connect...
