5 WORKING days to clear an EFT from FNB to FNB????????????????????????????????????????????

On 01/11/2016 funds were paid into my HL and I have a flexi facility. All the funds were on hold. I queried the matter and got the following email reply from Lenny Motsepe "

Please be advised that the system after the debit order goes through for 5 days only the system reserves a portion of your prepaid funds equivalent to your debit order amount. After the 5 days effects not cleared period lapses the full prepaid funds become available back to you. This arrangement is created for if a client’s debit order becomes dishonoured, the bond will not go into arrears and create a negative credit profile for a client." WHY WAS THE FULL AMOUNT PUT ON HOLD??????????????????????????

I phoned today and spoke to Jito Moropa, and he advised the EFT will take 5 WORKING DAYS to clear???????????????WHAT???????????????? The funds come from FNB to FNB and the source can be verified.

So Lenny in fact **** as what she stated in her email is not the case. This is totally unacceptable.
