4th ******* by FNB ATM within 3 years.

I've lost my ATM card for the 4 time within a space of 3 years because, like I complained earlier in 2015, FNB ATMs are designed to facilitate losing cards by forgetting them at ATMs.

All ATMs by other institution are designed in such a way that one's card is ejected first before the cash ejection, but with FNB, it's the other way around.

If the money is ejected first before the card (as it's the case with FNB), you easily walk away because you've got the money you went there to withdraw, leaving the card behind in the process.

Getting the card first, guarantees you'll never lose your card at the ATM, and definitely there's no way you could forget your money there coz mentally you went to that ATM with aim to get cash, and so it logically prompts and triggers instinctively in your mind to wait for cash.

Now I have to fork out charges for ordering the new card because of bad ATM design.

What's the logic to get money first before the card on FNB ATMs exactly?
