48 hour turnaround time is nothing but a farce

We've lodged a claim for my father's funeral policy and 48 hours later, the claim is yet to be processed. I've been calling the call centre and hearing the same tune that the claim is with assessors for the past two days and that I'll be contacted once done. The 48 hours turnaround time has lapsed and yet no one has contacted us. We are busy with the funeral arrangements and we are finding no joy from an insurer my dad has been contributing to eons ago.
