30 mins to open an account. 10 Days to call
I opened a business account on Mon 16th Nov at the Woodlands Branch. Quick and efficient. Very impressed. I was then told a Mr Rhode would call me within 1-2 days regarding the collection debit order facility I require. When that didn't happen, I called the call centre. I called from *** at 12h00 thu 19 Nov. The lady handling the call could not help me at all and when she got frustrated with me she put the phone down in my ear. I called her supervisor immediately. He promised to investigate and get back to me. Nothing happened. He also promised to call the branch so they can attend to my problem. Nothing happened. I then sent a mail to [Email Removed] I got a call from the branch saying my cards are there and they were very sorry for the delay. I had no problem with the cards. I then got a call from the person who promised me Mr Rhode would call me. He sent me documents instead and asked me to deposit money into the account to activate it. (Neither Mr Rhode or the call centre supervisor has called yet) In one week I've had 3 broken promises and the phone slammed down in my ear. Is this the way FNB operates? If so, I never want to activate the account!!! Please revert.
