27 days for service

I went to Letsoho brnach to make an appointment for replacing a sigatnatory in our stokvel, I was told that we must come on the 23rd on October which is 27 days away from today. SInce when do we wait for 27 days to get a service from FNB? We want to change our signatory this week. Whoever call me must be having a date between tomorrow and this Friday.
