25 years old debt hauntng me

<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p> </p> <p>It was with a huge suprise after i went throght a terrible devorce in 1994 , came on ITC, recenlty clearaed my name on ITC after spending a huge amount on doing so. I applief for vehicle finance, 1st itme in 20 years to hear that i am not approved due to debt of 1993/4. Further that this account was closed in 2012 etc etc and today when i try to locate the problem behind the problem i hear i am owing FNB R 129000.00. What a suprise? What happened that debt needs to be taken off after a certain amount of years?? Why are people still calling about this?</p> <p>I dont know who to speak too, just been told i need to pay and a summons are issued but due to the fact i am working my ^&*( off in Africa to make a living now i am stranded with this? What law is protecting me?</p> <p>What happened when Zuma said clear all ITC records and then this is still coming up?</p> <p> </p> <p>I hope someone can bring light on this matter because i am really not only shocked but 25 years later i had been asked qeustion like it was yesterday? What happened to the "prescription act 68 of 1969" that means a debt is extinguished after the lapse of a time period?</p> <p> According to my knowledge i never admitted this is my debt, or debt i made and always qeuried this issue, even so that who called me told me i must sent my copy of my ID then they will confirm if it is me or not, however, i said, rather sent me the copy you have and i will confirm, many years passed and still nothing i have received.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will appreciate this matter to be resollved and cleared or sorted out</p> <p> </p>
