20 years to change an address!

How long must a customer wait until the bank changes its records and updates my address? Is 20 years too short? They continue to send me correspondence with an address that is 20 years OUT OF DATE!! DESPITE SUBMITTING THE NEW ADDRESS hundreds of times!!!
