2 similar *****ulent transactions going off at the same time

2 transactions of the same amount went off when I was sitting in my living and not travelling on Friday evening (Uber, R282.88). Within 10 minutes I reported the transactions as ***** and yet they both went through.

How is it even possible that 2 transactions of the exact same amount from the same company go off?

I am very diligent with not sharing my card info and I use wearables (never give my card to anyone). How on earth were my details compromised, is the bank taking security seriously?
