Good day,

I approached FNB a year and a half ago for a personal loan and was turned away due to not having any credit history. I Immediately app**** for a contract with Vodacom and have been paying my contract as well as additional wifi services every month to ensure good standing.

Today I approached an FNB branch again for a loan, R5 000.00, and was again turned away due to now not having enough accounts. I was advised to open a clothing account.

I find it extremely upsetting that in order to be granted a loan I have to first over extend myself financially for my bank to consider assisting me.

I'd like a detailed reason as to why I cannot be assisted so I'm able to decide on the way forward.
