15 000 eBucks for Big FNB day and TakealotMore eBucks allocation not received

I cannot believe how *********** the staff at FNB/eBucks are... I purchased an Item from Takealot on FNB day, but I did not get my 15000 ebucks allocation for the order. I contacted ebucks and had to listen to a number of excuses why the order did not qualify for the 30% back in ebucks.... I am on level 5 earn with my eBucks - YES I am a TakealotMore subscriber - YES I used my FNB credit card - YES I provided my ID number and selected Earn eBucks at check-out - YES All the reasons they gave me why I did not receive the eBucks were invalid... ... According to the "rules" I should have earned an additional 30% on a maximum of R5000. I took screenshots of the item I purchased (on 16 December, with the FNB day banner showing on the Takealot website, I took a screenshot where I selected to earn ebucks, I confirmed on my ebucks statement that I earned my normal eBucks for the order (confirming that I used my CreditCard, and that I entered my ID to earn ebuck).

Today the excuse why I did not receive the eBucks is because only purchases made on 15 December 2025 qualify. I informed the call centre lady that this is not what was advertised, and that the T&C's on the ebucks website specially list 15 and 16 December 2025. And that the screenshots with the FNB banner were taken on the 16th when the Big FNB day promo was still running.

The order was placed on 16 December. The banners on the Takealot website showed 15 and 16 December, and even the T&C's on the eBucks website list 15 & 16 December 2025. I had to send the T&C's downloaded from the eBucks website because they are to *********** to investigate the query themselves. I first queried this on 29 January 2026, and only received excuses without any resolution.

Check the T&C on your website before trying to lie to your customers...if you changed the dates for the campaign you should have updated the T&C ion your website and removed the Big FNB day banners on 16 December.
