11 weeks to open a Business Account at FNB

It has been 2 months since opening a Business Account for a Sole Trader all the documentation was submitted. Only when it come to customers paying for the service did I become aware that the account was and still is frozen that was 26 days after opening said account, after various phone call and an extended amount of time on the phone with a complaint lodged they contacted me the last week of April. The Mandate was signed and proof of address submitted and again submitted the nest day, with a promise that the account is marked as urgent. Now 1 week later I am again in the same situation Account is still frozen with almost a hour on the phone and another complaint logged I I still no closer to actually having a Business account, and there is no communication from FNB no email or phone call to indicate what is the hold-up. To crown it 0ff FNB is charging me an Account service fees for an Account I can not use. As I am trying to grow a small business this serves and the lack there-off is not acceptable. From the promise of being your Business partner to the server lack of delivery from FNB. <br>
