10+ requests to action a simple instruction

This is just shocking. I don't normally complain, but after 10 attempts, I am at my wits end. I live abroad. Received correspondence that I need to update my residential details with FNB (legal requirement) or I can opt to close the account. No problem, I don't use it anymore, so I opted to close it, and filled out the form attached, and sent it off. Here is when the issue started. First they don't respond, and I have to constantly follow up. Then they want my proof of bank details where the balance after closure needs to be paid into. Not a problem, I sent that off and add my telephone details asking them to phone me if needed between 9 and 10am SA time since I don't live in SA. FNB: You have to go into the branch to close the account Me: I can't go into the branch, I don't live in SA. (second time mentioning it) FNB replies: Please provide a suitable time to phone you. Me: As mentioned previously, you can phone me between 9 and 10am SA time FNB replies: Please provide a suitable time to phone you. Me: As mentioned TWICE, you can phone me between 9 and 10 am. FNB: Ignores me ever since. Sick and tired of poor service delivery. Super glad to be rid of the country. Looking forward to get rid of FNB too.

FNBs attempt to resolve the query was shockingly useless. I received a phone call, but that is about it. The account hasn't been closed as promised and the funds haven't been transferred. I'm still trying to get in touch with them regarding my other son, but to no avail. In fact, for my second child, FNB stopped responding to those mails mid June. It has yet been another week with no resolution, no feedback. I even tried to call them, but even that didn't work. WHY!!!!!!! There is just no words for this situation.
