On 9 January I received an offer by email from FNB to buy a bicycle from Cycle Lab at 10,25% interest. I phoned the FNB call centre and after talking to 5 people at last one could assist me with how this offer worked. The lady said that I had to buy the bicycle on my credit card "straight account" and after 48 hours I would receive an sms to ask if the transaction should be put back on my "budget account". The credit that I had on my budget account was transfered to my straight account on 10 January. On 11 January I bought a bicycle at Chris Willemse Cycles (this is the Cycle Lab shop in Cape Town). I used my credit card and the transaction was on my staight account. After a few days I phoned FNB call centre to enquire why I have not received an sms to put the transaction on my budget account. After speaking to numerous agents no-one was able to help me. Nobody was informed about the offers from FNB that customers receive by email. On 25/1 I spoke to Kamini Lingham and sent all the emails and information to her. She promised she would resolve my problem. On 30/1 I sent her an email to say that I have not heard anything from her and that my problem has not been resolved. I sent her another email again on 25/2. Still no reaction! On 15/4 I phoned Kamini Lingham again and she informed met that she has moved to another department and that I have to contact Vashkalin Nadasen. I sent Vashkalin an email after no reply on the telephone number provided (after trying numerous times) and asked that my querie be forwarded to the Relationship Manager. Vashkalin confirmed by email on 16/4 that it was forwarded to the RM. It is now 17/5 and I still have not heard anything from FNB!!!!! Can somebody PLEASE attend to my problem and come back to me. What about the 10,25% interest that has been more on my straight account the past 5 months????? Waiting in anticipation.
