On the 26th of August I was involved in a car accident in Randburg. My car was towed with the agreement of the insurance company and their merchant which is first help.

When my car was towed I was advised that the vehicle was being taken to Sandton which is the assessment centre for my insurance at the time.

The next day I called PMD and asked them where my car was as I wanted to collect my things that I was not able to remove at the accident scene.

I was told that I they don’t know where my car is and they will get back to me. I called on the 28th and was told that they are moving the car from Florida to Sandton. When I asked how my car is in Florida and not in Sandton I was told that they would call me back.

As per norm no call back was done. Then I decided to go to their offices in Brynston. And spoke to someone and I was advised that they were working on it and they apologised for the inconvenience.

Only on Thursday if not Friday did I get a call to advise that my car was now in Sandton and I was able to collect my belongings when I got to Auction Nation my car was ransacked my things were missing and no one had answers for me.

I called PMD to advise of the things that were ****** and an investigation was conducted to only be told that they can only pay me R1500 for the items that were ****** from my vehicle.
