Misinformation by Drivers
My Fiancé' was involved in an accident where a lady drove into her after skipping a robot, the first help team was on the scene very quickly and told her not to worry and that they will sort it all out and they will claim back from 3rd party and that we wouldn't incur any fees or payments, this was a monday before the public holiday on the Tuesday, on the wednesday we called to ask what would be happening going forward as they said this is the dial direct assessment center as well, just to find that the are going to send an invoice for what is owed on the car for it to be released, after numerous phone calls (receptionist very rude) still nothing was sent, we then called again on Thursday to find out what is happening they then send an invoice of over R13 000.00, after trying to speak to a manager i left work to go to the holding site to meet a Robbie who deals with all the legal issues.
Met with Robbie and explained the situation and that his driver gave us false information which made my Fiancé' sign the docs under false pretense, his response was the following " if you have a problem go open a case against us".
This is how this company makes their money off innocent people who have been involved in a traumatic situation they have no way of handling their staff and when a customer comes to question it they simply say we signed for the t&c's and this after the driver said sign here so i can handle your car.
