You Will Simply be Ignored Away

I have dealt with many other insurance companies before but 1st for women is by far the most frustrating, unresponsive, inhumane and unreasonable insurance company I have experienced. I could go as far at to say they are corporate bullies that are out to squeeze the small guy. Watch out for the colorful promises.

On the 11th of March 2024, The Isuzu I was driving was rammed on the side by a 1st for women client who lost control of their vehicle and swerved to oncoming traffic. I was rammed so hard the engine of the 1st for Women client flew out. There were many witnesses to this fact including the other driver. As a result my laptop and phone where damaged. I submitted a claim and they asked for me to provide proof that I had the items in the car and that the items belonged to me. I submitted the following:

1. Invoice from my account on Amazon.com showing the laptop purchase. 2. Statement showing phone account. 3. Statement from hospital ER where they could trace the EMT people that assisted me from scene to hospital to corroborate my story and further investigate what they helped me carry from scene as well as footage of my arrival at hospital. 4. Phone number of the colleague who fetched me from hospital. 5. Geo-tagged photos of the scene taken by the phone in question that had Metadata that could prove the phone was there.

Their response was as follows:

1. An Amazon invoice downloaded from one's amazon account is not a real invoice therefore there's no proof I bought the laptop. They wanted a till slip from Amazon I guess lol. 2. The only acceptable proof that the laptop was in the car was of photos I took of it in the car. The fact that I left in an ambulance that can traced is not.

I called the manager and gave her the facts of the matter once more and she told me she'd call me back a week ago as of the date of this post. I have been waiting for 1 and half months with no resolution. The fact that I am the small guy that makes a living for his young family with his laptop doesn't bother first for women, so much for being first for women. I was just driving down a road minding my own business where is the justice ?
