WORST SERVICE - CLAIM OUTSTANDING FOR OVER 2 MONTHS

When I still find myself having to lay a complaint again on the same claim which I put through 2.5months ago.

On the 19th Sept 2016, I layed my first formal complaint via HelloPeter because of this TERRIBLE SERVICE. The response became prompt, and I started feeling we getting somewhere.

Part of the claim was settled, however the cellphone device settlement was still outstanding as their supplier did not have a replacement. On the 4th October, I sent an email confirming the cash payment in lieu can be made, NO RESPONSE from 1st For Women. 17 Oct I send an email again to follow-up, still no response. I finally call and get told that someone will call me back, and still received NO CALL BACK for my claim follow up.

21st October 10:10am, I call again and spoke to a consultant Zanele Nhleko, who says she will contact me back. I told her I was going to lay a formal complaint as the last time I was left hanging by a consultant who promised to call back. Indeed she called back and says she has informed her team to effect payment and I should get it within 3-4 working days. I decided to give it the whole week instead, and today 31 October, officially 2.5 months later, my claim is still NOT SETTLED. I called today 31 Oct 14:12pm, spoke to a consultant named Maggie Govender, who is now telling me that the manager is still to authorise this payment, and promises to call by C.O.B, nothing new there as this call will probably NOT BE MADE ANYWAY. What beats me is, how is my claim still awaiting to be approved when I communicated accepting the cash payment in lieu on the 4th Oct already with calls in between all of that.

I have dealt with a number of insurances and I can rate this as the WORST SERVICE PROVIDER thus far, I am truely disgusted as I have never missed a debit order payment which YOU GLADLY TAKE TIMEOUSLY, but when you have to pay, YOU GIVE BS SERVICE.
